For the 2009 fogfest, I decided to take my gear and “test the waters” of a large, semi-fast moving, crowd. And a major part of my test was using a mono-pod with my panoramic camera set-up. It was the first time I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone of my sturdy (level) tripod to use a hand held monopod.

Once again, the Fog Fest landed on a gorgeous weekend in Pacifica. When I was there with my family around mid-afternoon, it was a sea of people. When I returned at 4 p.m. to try to capture some virtual tours, the crowd died down a little … but not much.
